Definition:

Countable: Countable nouns refer to objects, people, or things that can be counted and are generally singular or plural. They have both singular and plural forms and can be quantified using numbers like one, two, three, etc. For instance, "dog" is a countable noun because you can have one dog, two dogs, three dogs, and so on. Examples of countable nouns include "book," "cat," "table," "child," and "pen."

Uncountable: Uncountable nouns, also known as mass nouns, are substances, concepts, or things that cannot be counted individually or separated into distinct units. They are often treated as singular and do not have a plural form. These nouns refer to things that are viewed as a whole or as a mass. Examples of uncountable nouns include "water," "air," "rice," "information," and "furniture." They generally don't take an indefinite article (a/an) and cannot be pluralized in the same way as countable nouns.
